Visionary's Plan Comes Into Focus The man who built Securities America into a major force in the broker-dealer industry before selling it is well on his way to building his second enterprise. Steve Wild is assembling Quantum Alliance, a holding company for a two year old broker-dealer that is adding independent representatives a blinding speed. What makes the effort unique, however, is a strategy that makes QA3 Financial Corp. the first in the nation where lawyers play an essential role in wealth management and protection without commissions. The goal is to find a way to create the rare office where lawyers, CPAs and Financial Advisors work closely together as a "TEAM", sometimes under one roof. The biggest challenge was to get lawyers to find common ground with other advisors. Financial advisors tend to think of lawyers as "deal killers" who tend to drag out and thus kill deals. Lawyers, on the other hand, tend to view advisors as shoot-from-the-hip, quick-buck artists. The National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys filled the need for comparative levels of education and communication and a common ground for all professionals. The common ground then lessen the trend to be competitors and instead creates an environment of harmony and trust with the client as the main focus. To make sure the advisors go to the same school as the lawyers Mr. Wild purchased the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys which is one of the very few schools nationally that trains lawyers in estate planning and business succession law and techniques. Attorneys affiliated with the National Network have said it has filled the perceived need to form more enduring and through ties to clients. It eliminates the idea that a lawyer is treated as a hired-gun who are forgotten once they have completed the assigned task.
